Satellite and aircraft based observations of artificial light at night (LAN) are correlated with regions of the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area. This study may help in identifying potential living laboratory sites of interest along the San Pedro River, guide the development of a comprehensive LAN survey of the region, and help in identifying directions for further research into the role of LAN in eco-system preservation. |
